Are You Standing On The Rock, Matthew 7:24-29 By Rev Julio Orozco Jr.

Welcome to Grace Community Church we will be looking at  Matthew 7:24-29, Are You Standing On The Rock?

Overview:

We are living in tumultuous times, when people are melting in terror, and scriptures warn us that terrible times will come in the final days, when many people’s hearts will grow cold. And, ladies and gentlemen, you don’t have to wait five minutes to witness the truth revealed in the Bible come to life on the news. The entire world may be forlorn and in quest of solutions and stability, but these flaming tribulations are to be expected for the born again Christian. In Matthew 7:24-29, Jesus warns against it, and the issue is, where are you standing? Have you built your house on sand or are you standing on firm ground, which is Christ? In today’s message, In today’s sermon, Reverend Julio will be giving us sound wisdom from the lips of our Lord in regards to this matter.

PS: I’d like to invite you to like, share, and comment on the sermon on YouTube because it helps to spread it to people all over the world. This is excellent preaching, which the entire world needs to hear. Every Sunday, our pastor has faithfully brought the word to us, and it is only fitting that we do our part and share it with others.

Are You Standing On The Rock

The Passage

Build Your House on the Rock

24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

The Authority of Jesus

28 And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, 29 for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.
