Sunrise Service Was Held This Morning At 7 Am at NPC

It is always a beautiful sight to see the sun rise in the morning, but there is something special about witnessing the Sunrise on Easter Sunday. This morning, Elder Rigoberto reminded us of the tragic yet God-ordained event that took place about two thousand years ago for the sole purpose of the salvation of mankind. We were once dead, without hope, without Christ in this world. But God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ, and the resurrection is a sure sign that God was pleased with Jesus’ sacrifice in accordance with Romans 1:1-5.

Just like the Apostle Paul, God revealed His Son in us so that we might preach Him to our loved ones, our friends, our neighbors and anyone we come in contact with. Let us then rid ourselves of the sin that easily entangles, and let us run the race with perseverance, keeping our eyes on Jesus who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising its shame. He did so that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. May you go in the peace of God and may His Spirit empower you to live righteously before Him, Amen.
