Montgomery County’s Latino Conservative Week

This month (July) from the 16th-24th, Montgomery County held an event to connect Latino communities. This is directly from their site, “The week aims to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.  As the largest minority group in America – one that is expected to grow to nearly one-third of the population by 2050 – the Latino community’s role as stewards is critical to the future success and preservation of our nation’s public lands.”

So for our Fun Month we decided to be a part of the activities. It was a great opportunity to meet so many people with different stories and love for their culture. The best part was the many people outside of the Latino community coming to support.
