The Messiah Has Been Born, Now What? Luke 2:8-20

God’s love for humanity is made evident in the way HE chose to announce the birth of His Son, Jesus. Even though there were other significant figures with greater power, like royalty or members of the high-priesthood, God elected the humble shepherds to be the first to receive this astounding news. This demonstrated that no matter your background or station in life, God treats everyone equally and His message of salvation was meant to reach all people. The accompanying display of angels was provided as assurance that they were telling the truth. In today’s sermon Pastor Julio will be discussing how this passage can inform our lives and how we can act on its teachings. One verse that should stand out is ‘Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased’.
