Why Is Prayer The Primary Work Of The People Of God, Luke 11:1

Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God and the primary means that honors Him. It serves as a pause to reflect on who we are walking with and the direction that we are going in our lives, as well as seeking guidance. This theme is not only present in Jesus’ teachings, but it is one that His own disciples asked him to teach them more about in Luke 11:1. Through his sermon today, Reverend Julio Orozco will explore the reasons why prayer should be the primary work of all believers — for if we can understand this, then evangelism, serving, loving our community and teaching and preaching the word of God will naturally become an outflow from our prayer life.
